What is Junior Academy?

Junior Academy is Florida Elite’s program that is designed to be the perfect bridge way to our competitive program. The program is available for players between the ages of 5.5 and 8 years of age who want to take their game to the next level.

The Jr Academy program is a 10 month program and runs from August through May.

Our Focus

The Jr. Academy Program’s focus is to prepare players for our competitive program. Our program offers a high level of training by licensed, experienced coaches with a focus on player development. Our emphasis is on individual confidence with the ball, technical development, and placing the kids in a competitive environment to expose them to all the components of the game. We introduce these concepts through a set curriculum.

Bridge way to competitive soccer

Junior Academy is a great introduction to the aspects of playing in our competitive program. With our experienced competitive coaching staff, players will be able to see what it would be like to join the competitive program while still having fun and learning all about the wonderful game. We hope to create the love for the game while also giving them all the tools they need to be successful in our competitive program.

What can you expect from us?

The Jr. Academy program is run by our professional coaching staff. The coaches are here to keep your child's soccer experience fun, enjoyable, and help foster a desire to play. Our coaches will provide your players with training two times per week and games on Friday evenings. All games are played in a 5v5 format and every player will have a set team and coach for his/her games on the weekend.

The program is available for all players born between 2016 and 2018 (U6-U8) who want to take their game to the next level.

Pricing varies per location depending on total cost of operation within that location and/or municipality. Program pricing is listed in your Club Programs page in your Florida Elite PlayMetrics account. Please click the registration button below for pricing and to register.

*The program registration prices do NOT include the required Jr Academy Uniform kit which is good for 2 years. The Uniform kit is $229.50 after the FLORIDAREWARDS coupon instant discount.

2024-2025 JR ACADEMY REGISTRATION OPENS SOON!

The 2023-24 Jr Academy Bridge Teams:

The bridge team/teams are an extension of the Jr Academy program. Players selected for the teams will continue to pay Jr Academy fees. However, while not yet part of the competitive program, bridge teams will train like a competitive team. The teams will have 2 team training sessions a week, play league games, and participate in multiple tournaments throughout the year. They will be competing a year up and playing 7v7. If your player is selected to be a part of the bridge team, tournament fees (in addition to Jr Academy fees) will be required.

2023-24 Bridge Team FREE Clinics are now open and can be registered for in our new Florida Elite PlayMetrics system.

For the upcoming season 2023/2024 Bridge Teams are for players born in 2016 only.

Bridge Team Tryout Information:

Tryouts for Bridge Team will be held at Chuck Rogers Park. Players currently registered in the Jr Academy program are eligible to Tryout for the Bridge Teams. As a registered Jr Academy Player, you will be able to see, and register for the Bridge Team Tryouts in your "Club Programs" menu in your Florida Elite PlayMetrics account.
