RECREATIONAL PROGRAM OVERVIEW


Our Recreational Program is the heart and soul of our Club. The program is designed to create a fun filled, organized playing environment for players of all skill levels. It is a place for players to be able to play with friends while experiencing the joys of competing in this beautiful game. Here is an overview of the steps involved each season:

1. If you have not already, we recommend that you start with creating your free Florida Elite account. Simply click on REGISTER at the top right of our web page. This will allow to create your family account and add as many players as you want.

2. Next choose the location that works best for your family below. We have multiple locations to choose from. The great thing about having a Florida Elite account is that all of the Programs available to you will be shown in your family account based on your player(s) age.

3. Each location page with show available programs in your area and will list registrations based on age/gender.

4. During the registration process you will be asked if you would like to volunteer as either a Head coach or an Assistant Coach. Our Recreation program is a volunteer coached program. All of our volunteer coaches complete a background check and required SafeSport screening. Volunteering as a Coach is a fantastic way to spend time with, and make a positive difference in the player's lives. All of our coaches are required to adhere to our positive coaching standards. 


5. Once you register for a program, you will be able to easily order your Florida Elite uniform for your player(s). All players must wear the approved, current uniform to compete in our Recreational program. These uniforms are provided through our apparel and equipment partner WeGotSoccer. Your confirmation email will have all of the details about ordering your uniform which will be either delivered straight to your door, or available for pickup at the WeGotSoccer store in Jacksonville.

6. During the registration process, our Directors are working on putting the teams together. The team formations are based on requests (during the early registration dates), player home location, team need and are all considered on a first come, first serve basis. Teammate/Coach requests are always considered, but not guaranteed.

7. Approximately 2 weeks before training begins (typically 2 weeks before the games start) our Volunteer coaches will begin reaching out to their players. For Fall Recreation program you will typically hear from your coach in mid-late August and for the Spring Recreation program you will typically hear from your coach in mid-late February. These date time frames are always posted on the Registration page. If you don't hear from your coach by those dates, please reach out to us at [email protected]

8. Practices (training) typically begins 2 weeks prior to the first scheduled games.

9. Game schedules are typically released 1 to 2 weeks prior your first game. Your Coach will share the schedule with you and it will also be available on your Team page. 

Recreation Program Refunds:
For refunds requested on or before the season start date, a $35 administrative fee will be withheld from the refund. No refunds will be given after the season start date.  No refunds will be given after the start date of the Recreational Season

HEY THERE! Our Recreational Program is Coached by amazing volunteers. You do not have to have any playing or coaching experience to coach a team. You just have to love being out there helping these players have a fantastic experience...and you have to be reliable. :)

Our Professional coaching staff and our partner MOJO are there to help you along the way and to get ready for your season. It's fun and it's easy!

ORDERING YOUR RECREATIONAL UNIFORM


The 2021/2023 RECREATIONAL UNIFORMS are NOW available to order. All Florida Elite Recreational Players are required to wear the NEW official Florida Elite New Balance Uniform.

These uniforms can be either shipped directly to your home, or picked up (free shipping) from the WeGotSoccer store in Jacksonville.

TRY-ON Kits are available at the WeGotSoccer store located at 8570 Philips Hwy UNIT 109, Jacksonville, FL 32256

For Duval County and ST Johns Locations
UNIFORM ORDERS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE IN-STORE. Visit the store at  8570 Philips Hwy UNIT 109, Jacksonville, FL 32256. You can still use the Coupon Code FLORIDAREWARDS in store for your immediate discount. You can also Try-On the uniform before purchasing to make sure you have the prefect fit.

For Oakleaf and  Palm Coast locations, to order your uniform, please CLICK HERE or visit www.WeGotSoccer.com/FloridaElite to order your player's uniform kit.  Once you are on the WeGotSoccer website, simply click on the UNIFORMS tab on the left side of the page, then click on the location you have registered for. The "Required Kits" will include everything you need for the season. There are additional items available to order on the website, but they are not required.

Rec - St. Johns are for those who have registered in St Johns County (Veterans Park, Aberdeen Park)
Rec - Duval are for those who have registered in Duval County (Chuck Rogers Park, Earl Johnson Park and Losco Park)
Rec - Oakleaf are for those who have registered in Oakleaf
Palm Coast - is for those who have registered in our Palm Coast program

Recreational uniforms all come with our "Hi-Lite" Club color HOME jersey and AWAY Jersey, a pair of New Balance performance shorts (black) and a pair of New Balance "Hi-Lite" colored performance socks. The AWAY jerseys vary in color dependent upon location. See the breakdown below.

• The ST JOHNS PROGRAM will have a RED AWAY jersey.

• The DUVAL PROGRAM will have a BLACK AWAY jersey.

• The OAKLEAF PROGRAM will have a ORANGE AWAY jersey.

• The PALM COAST PROGRAM will have a BLUE AWAY jersey.

• The TALLAHASSEE PROGRAM will have a PINK AWAY jersey.


For your uniform number choice, we suggest you choose your child’s birth date. For example, if your child was born on August 3rd, you would choose the number 3. This reduces the number of duplicate numbers on one team.
